HomeImprover's News module provides benefit to all users from both a "buyers" and "sellers" perspective. Buyers can keep themselves informed with the latest information regarding the "home" industry and sellers can continue to promote their business and keep their customers updated on their latest activities.

The News module provides a front-end and back-end where subscribed users can write and submit their own news articles (view sample article). All submissions go through an admin waiting period where articles can be edited and reviewed. All submissions can be linked to existing web-pages within HomeImprover and externally on the World Wide Web or broader Internet.

All users can post comments on the various news articles that they read providing they are at least registered with HomeImprover. All comments are edited by an Admin prior to being published, thus preventing any undesirable content from reaching the net. However, anonymous (and other) users are able to vote on various news articles.
