The mini-websites that HomeImprover develops are hosted within the main HomeImprover portal, but have unique database ID's so that they can be accessed from anywhere. For example, a company may wish to register a domain name (smith-plumbing.co.za) for their business with a view to developing a full-scale website in the future. This domain name can be linked to their mini-website within HomeImprover in the short-term. The added benefit is that Smith Plumbing can continue to promote their brand and their business name. This domain name can even be used for forwarding e-mail i.e.

Anyone on the Internet or World Wide Web (WWW) that browses to www.smith-plumbing.co.za, will be served Smith Plumbing's mini-website. Test this by browsing to any of the following examples:
